Yesterday my wife (who usually doesn’t ask me questions about go, though I spend hours studying it every day) asked me what rank I thought I could get during my lifetime. Sheepishly, I told her that I thought I might someday make it to 1p. This should give anyone courage who feels they will never have a chance to go pro.

its good but it has a few problems. first if i accidentally play an illegal move, instead of placing my stone somewhere else it takes it as a turn and goes ahead with 2 straight moves! another problem, though im not quite sure on the rules is double ko. i have twice now been in game that halted because the computer and i would be stuck in 2 ko positions on the board.

I had a look at the prelims of BC Card Cup, and saw that amateurs won 23 games in total and only lost 15… that is a very nice result for amateurs!
