Hane Naoki Defeats Cho U in Japan NEC Cup Final

Hane Naoki, currently Honinbo and Okan holder in Japan, won NEC Cup as well yesterday after defeating Cho U in the final game.

    Interesting game. I’ve never seen Naoki’s play before. Do you think the endgame was salvageable for Cho U?

    Hi Pedro,
    It doesn’t seem to be that the game was decided in the endgame, but in the middle-game when Hane (black) attacked very aggressively.
